What is the Health Data Cloud (HDC)?
The Health Data Cloud (HDC) provides EBRAINS service for sensitive data. HDC provides a federated research data ecosystem that enables scientists across Europe and beyond to collect, process and share sensitive data in compliance with EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). HDC is a federation of interoperable nodes. Nodes share a common system architecture based on Charité Virtual Research Environment (VRE), enabling research consortia to manage, and process data and making data discoverable and sharable via the EBRAINS Knowledge Graph.
