How to get access to resources?

Access to resources of the Fenix Infrastructure is free of charge and is provided in an excellence-based procedure, following the peer review principles which have been established by PRACE. The allocation procedure is handled by the user communities, This access is provided to European scientists from all scientific domains, free of charge at the point of usage.

What is the allocation procedure for neuroscientists?

The duration of process - from the receipt of the proposal until the resources are granted - is usually one month.

A detailed description of the full allocation mechanism for HBP is included in the ICEI deliverable D5.1.

The ICEI PMO serves as the point of contact for everyone involved in the allocation procedure.

1 The review process follows the peer review principles that have been established by PRACE

2 In case of small-scale projects the EBRAINS IAC may consider a shortened procedure without Scientific Assessment; thresholds that are taken into acoount for consideration: a. The requested amount of resources does not exceed 5% of the total available Fenix credits of any resource class during the project duration, b. The number of submitted small proposals or granted and still active proposals, which have been submitted by the same team, is at most 4.
